Here's To All Of You!

The Fanzing Staff would like to thank all of the visitors who have made this site possible, as well as the 100+ contributors who have helped us to put out a run of 54 issues! (That's 52 plus the #0 and #-1 issues)

The Magazine is now completed, ending with #52, the Elongated Man issue.

What happens now?

First off, over a dozen of Fanzing's contributors will be producing our very own self-published comic book which is now in the art stages. Entitled "Fanzing Presents: Job Wanted", it is a self-contained collection of exciting stories about strange, scary and/or funny jobs. It includes an introduction by our very own Fuzzball as he tries to make it into the comic book industry. There have recently been some changes to the line-up. In a week, I will be posting a press release with the revised slate of stories, as well as a special sneak peek at some of the artwork from it! Stay tuned to this web site for details!

As for the site, we intend to keep up the full archives of the magazine for as long as possible. However, some portions of the web site are going to continue to be active, and this will provide an opportunity for some to still contribute and showcase their work.

The Cards section has been reactivated and expanded. We are still looking for more cards to fill in the missing holidays, and in particular we need birthday cards. We currently don't have any! If you'd like to create a card, please contact us. We may even hold an art contest for more cards!

The Fortress of Downloaditude can always use more wallpapers, themes and screensavers as well.

Plus the Shopping Section will continue to offer Fanzing's comic book-related shirts and other merchandise. And we are working to keep the list of available books and trade paperbacks available from DC and other companies as complete as possible. We just added a page for CrossGen as well.

But That's Not All!

We're now embarking upon a new venture called "Monitor Duty."
