This month we have two winners! The first is: If you liked the Batman or Justice League animated series on the Cartoon Network, you'll enjoy perusing this innovative website which proposes a Green Lantern animated series. From the mind of M. Corker, the site proposes five years worth of episodes, contains profiles on heroes and villians, and tiptoes around the never ending Hal-Kyle debate by using both heroes in ways that will please both characters' supporters. When reading the heroes' profiles, pass your mouse over the artwork to see a second image. The second image of Guy Gardner is especially well done! The second is: Word about this site comes from Joel Ellis Rea, the brains behing Fanzing's "Alt Showcase 94" writing challenge. With three parodies featuring DC characters, the downloadable flash animations on this site will leave you in stitches! Where else can you sing along to the tune of "The Trevors: A Love Story (She's Still Wonder Woman To Me),"a parody of Billy Joel's "She's Always A Woman?" David R. Black is Fanzing.com's magazine editor and chief archivist. A big fan of "The Warlord," he has a cat named Shakira and is looking for a girlfriend named Tara.... |
