This month, several artists offered pieces related to private lives of superheroes.
Starman's comic
book, of course, is almost entirely devoted to his personal life! In
this piece by "Ratbat", we see both Jack Knight and his arch-enemy/rapist
The Mist.
Fire and Ice
are shown here, doing what they love to do, in Melissa Wilson's piece,
"Shopping."
Now for a mini-Alfred
Festival! Bill Wiist created this "Behind the Cape" piece as a companion
to Fanzing's cover.
Here we see another
view of Batman's faithful gentleman's gentleman, this one by Kurt Belcher.
Finally, here's
an off-topic piece with a cute story behind it. I asked Melissa Wilson
why all of her pics of Guy Gardner made him look so handsome and hunky
when Guy spent a decade being the most annoying jerk. As proof that
she drew him in a wide array of moods, she submitted this picture. Interesting
note: If you cover the upper half of his face, the lower half looks
like Guy's fave president, Ronald Reagan!
